 Tryouts
The MJSL Travel Team tryouts will be held Saturday Oct. 18 and Saturday Oct 25, 2008 at 3:30 pm at Harbor Island (near the soccer shed). Attendance to only one of the tryout dates is needed. Individual teams might have individual tryouts at different dates.
Children coming to the tryouts will need to have a Try Out Registration Form completely filled in. This form can be found under "forms" elsewhere on this website.
WYSL fall 2008/spring 2009 age groups by team
Westchester Youth Soccer League rules (WYSL) require that teams are built on the basis of the following age groups. MJSL requires that children play in their designated age group and they are not permitted to ‘play up’. All Travel teams and coaches are subject to approval by the Travel Committee.
U8: Born between AUGUST 1, 2000 - JULY 31, 2001 (New boys and girls teams being formed)
U9: Born between AUGUST 1, 1999 - JULY 31, 2000
U10: Born between AUGUST 1, 1998 - JULY 31, 1999
U11: Born between AUGUST 1, 1997 - JULY 31, 1998
U12: Born between AUGUST 1, 1996 - JULY 31, 1997
U13: Born between AUGUST 1, 1995 - JULY 31, 1996
U14: Born between AUGUST 1, 1994 - JULY 31, 1995
U15: Born Between AUGUST 1, 1993 - JULY 31, 1994
HIGH SCHOOL
Note: The new to be formed U-8 teams will get a professional trainer paid for by the MJSL.
