The Mamaroneck Bombers Boys U-9 won the FC Westchester Columbus Day tournament. They won their last game against Wilton Blue in a dramatic fashion by penalty kicks. Good work Bombers! You make us proud.
Mamaroneck Teams have Outstanding Sportsmanship Results
"If by winning you have lost the respect of others, you haven't really won". The MJSL has sportsmanship high on its agenda. Travel teams get rated by the referee for sportsmanship behavior. Players, coaches as well as parents are rated during each game.
In the Spring 2008, from the 19 teams for which Sportsmanship ratings were kept, Mamaroneck teams won 2 first place and 3 second place finishes. That means more than 26% of the Mamaroneck teams finished in the top 2 places for Sportsmanship. Congratulations to the Rebels (1st place Girls U-9), Tigers (1st place B-U13), Centaurs (2nd place Girls U-11), Red Devils (2nd place boys U-9) and United (2nd place B U-10). The Rebels won 1st place 2 years in a row! Congratulations to all. We are very proud of you. The sportsmanship award is one of the best awards you can receive. Keep up the good work.
Mamaroneck Red Bulls (Boys U-9) win the Lewisboro Labor Day tournament 2008
Mamaroneck Red Bulls Boys U-9 won the Lewisboro Labor day tournament by winning all 4 of their matches. The Red Bulls also won the U-9 penalty shoot out contest. Good work. This team is on a roll!
Mamaroneck United and Fireballs win Scarsdale Memorial Day Tournament 2008
Mamaroneck United Boys U-10 won the Scarsdale 2008 Memorial Day tournament with 4 wins and 0 losses or ties. The Fireballs Girls U-12 had the same result with a total of 13 goals for and zero against. Congratulations!
Mamaroneck Red Devils win Underdome 2008 Winter Session II
The Mamaroneck Red Devils Boys U-9 team won the Underdome winter session II by defeating the New Rochelle Force in the championship game on March 29, 2008. The Red Devils won 6 games and tied 1 during the season for a total of 19 points. They had 39 goals for and only 14 against. Good work Red Devils! We are proud of you.

The MJSL's pride, the Panthers, our highest level team, is rated the number 3 team in New York State after winning a tournament in Bethesda, MD. This team is getting stronger and stronger and is steadily rising to the top of New York State. The Panthers are ranked # 60 in the country. They make us proud.
